Remembering the Jewel of You - Reflections from The Body calls Us Home

As the nights draw in and the year folds itself softly toward winter, there’s an invitation to turn inward -to listen beneath the noise of doing and remember what quietly is speaking from within. So much of modern life pulls us outward: into screens, stories, and expectations. Yet beneath it all, there’s a steady, shining presence - The Jewel of You - waiting patiently to be remembered. An invitation to listen beneath the noise and feel what’s stirring inside. These reflections arise from my recent publication, The Body Calls Us Home and lean in to this season of slowing down, softening, and reconnecting with the wisdom of the body.
When we slow down enough to feel, through breath, through rest, through the simple act of placing a hand over the heart and truly connecting into our inner experience - something begins to soften. The nervous system unwinds, and a different kind of intelligence begins to speak - that of your own wise, body consciousness.
That’s the journey I explore in my new workbook, The Body Calls Us Home - twenty-eight days of gentle guidance, embodied practices, and soulful poetry to help you return to your natural rhythm. It’s a companion to support you - a reminder that what you seek isn’t lost - its only waiting to be seen again.
You can find it through The Temple Room Press https://www.thetempleroom.co.uk/templeroompress if you feel called to begin your own homecoming journey.
