Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialised massage technique using light, rhythmic movements designed to encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid through the body. Unlike traditional massage, MLD uses very light pressure and carefully directed techniques, making it a calming treatment for those seeking support with certain types of swelling, fluid retention and general wellbeing. MLD may also be suitable as part of pre- or post-operative care, including recovery from some cosmetic and surgical procedures, where appropriate and with any necessary medical clearance. Each treatment is adapted to your individual circumstances, with particular attention to your health history, comfort and stage of recovery.
